I just heard about this place so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the pancake combo with link sausage and poached eggs. My eggs were cooked to perfection, link sausage was as well. The pancakes though, they were a complete surprise! My order came with 2 and these pancakes are so good, the best I've ever eaten and they are ginormous! I rarely order pancakes because mine are to die for and I'm usually disappointed but not today. These pancakes are over 12" in diameter. They are so big they hang over the plate and they are melt in your mouth delicious. They have a distinct flavor-menu says "sweet cream pancakes" perhaps that's why. All I know is that they are the best pancakes I have ever eaten. They were so good I didn't bother with syrup. The strawberries were enough.
They serve iced coffee which I ordered. Their coffee was delicious also!
Can't wait to come back and try something else, though it will be hard not to order the pancakes again! -

The people working are extremely nice, the food was fast, and it was served piping hot. Besides hot and fast, the other adjectives I would use to describe the food would be "fine, decent, and ordinary".
I had the chicken fried steak, home fried potatoes, 3 eggs and biscuits and gravy. It's a TON of food, and the price was great. They had pop-country music playing softly, and it seemed like everyone knows everyone else. It's kinda awesome in that small town way.
There's nothing wrong with the place. If I lived around the corner, I'd probably go there to see old friends and make new ones. It really is a warm, inviting kind of environment, with good people and charm.
But I wouldn't go for the food. It's not that it's bad, it's just that it's average. But it's perfectly average. This place is the absolute litmus test of a solid three star restaurant on Yelp. And that's ok. I didn't leave disappointed. The food was well seasoned, but it was just lacking flavor. Everything just kind of tasted the same. Tastes like I think mess hall food would've tasted like in a bygone era.
Nothing wrong with the place. But if you're thinking about making it a destination off the beaten path, you can skip it. -

Delicious breakfast! Large servings and service was great! Definitely a little gem tucked back in the Industrial section of Hesperia.
